Number 35 This was breaking news yesterday; Tuesday 01/06. BREAKING: A body has been found in Buffalo Bayou in downtown Houston. This is the 35th body found in a Houston Bayou since January 2025. (First body found in 2026) I DON'T believe there is a serial killer running around Houston, BUT I feel like something is going on. These can't all be homeless people, and, if they are, then who is killing them? Thoughts? .......... 🚨 BREAKING: A body has been found in Buffalo Bayou in downtown Houston. This is near the convergence of White Oak & Buffalo Bayou near Main and Commerce Streets. This is very close to the Harris County Jail 🤔 and the UH Downtown Campus.

Kaylagirl : then news wants you to think its a serial killer , becasue that generates more ad revenue for them. thats why we have seen an increase in the stories, its not becasue of increase in bodies.

Kittle : And quite a few overdoses - if someone od's in a homeless camp, they are unlikely to call the police. Plenty of suicides as well. Sad situation, but statistically not surprising at all. In King County, Washington (Seattle), in 2025, there were 202 reported deaths of homeless people by drug overdose. Their population is less than half of that of Harris County.

StormChaser : Only one body has been determined to be the result of homicide . That should end the speculation about dumping bodies, and the existence of a serial killer. It is true that there are a lot that have undetermined causes of death (which could be murder), but until we know there are no other murders, then the only thing connecting the bodies is that 34 out of 35 are not homicides. Edited: It is also possible that when a homeless person dies in an encampment, other homeless people may decide to "dump the body" (to be left alone, avoid police, etc…)
