UPDATE: I found the paperwork from the last time these apartments were sued
and I've reached out to the lawyer on this case, left bad reviews (because that gets their attention more than a complaint), opened a case with the health dept, emailed the journalists suggested by you all, as well as reached out to local representatives.Kingwood is failing renters and those who don't own homes and I've been suffering for 10 years here and I find this egregious. Thanks for all the tips and help. I'm not giving up without a fight and I'm going to look at other properties in town. Unfortunately, Texas law states that landlords don't have to tell tenants if a home flooded or had mold and I find that disgusting considering we are in flood zones for hurricanes.

I hope you get responses from someone who can help you. Rent is ridiculous and should not be having to live in a place that has landlord and health issues present. Good luck.
