Thanks for the update. As someone who last lived in Kingwood from late 70's -late 90's present state NP is disgusting with all the development and I miss the "bubble" from long ago. Glad to see the progress on an all weather exit.

Mini 1960… very ugly.

When will the traffic progressively start to improve ?

FlipZ : They say it will, and for a minute it might BUT with the crazy population explosion all around us, it wont be the smoothest decongested ride we all hoped for before hundreds of thousands started flowing in from elsewhere. There are countless thousands apt buildings going up and and and a 7k planned neighborhood going up within a few miles of here. ON TOP of the multiple thousand super apt complex that went up on WLH PKWY this year ………this among many other smaller complexes that now surround us from all sides. Bye bye quiet suburb ……hello noisy, congested urbanesque living 😫

Ruger5 : easy, Kingwood has always been the poster child of suburban sprawl birthed by Friendswod Development and King Ranch from the bowels of Exxon. It's just following it's preordained destiny down the road to the Promised Land.

When did this project actually start? All I know is that there's been construction going on there at least 2 years, since when I moved here. Is there a projected completion date?

LyleLanleyII : Everyone wishes where they live was in a time capsule. Unfortunately large apartment complexes bring too many families or people to support the current road designs and schools. People keep moving further north to escape the taxes and crime. However most people just skip Cleveland because of the gangs. People are headed up 59 or far north in between.

another gas station on northpark when there are at east 6 already within a half mile. what the heck. Thanks Bob. Appreciate the updates. Lets hope COH continues to stop the illegal land fill where they want 7k homes.
