Posted on their Facebook page today:
"Today is our last day as the owner of Nico's bar and grill I'm so grateful for your support, loyalty, and friendship over the years. This journey wouldn't have been possible without you. Thank you for being part of our story. We are excited for the new owner and wish them the very best!!!"

Someone posted this on the board last night, but I'm sure there are some that were watching the game, and missed it. No news on who took it over or what kind of spot it will be? The discussion last night centered on how the owners did not really follow up, once Bar Rescue was there, and the business just fizzled, it seems.

Believe it or not...our school had the faculty Christmas party there one year. That's the only time I've been. You have not missed much (my opinion).

They did not answer when asked who the new owners were. I wonder it was easier to sell after the "glow up".

grinchy: no worries, mate. These threads get way buried, with hours of no response. someone was saying that they really never had much of a devotion to make the restaurant work, and it did surely seem that way when they were on bar rescue. Owning a restaurant is way more work than most people think! Hope the new owners bring something enjoyable, with really good food!

Lived here nearly 30 years too and have never been there. My understanding it is more of a bar than a restaurant. Agree that owning a restaurant is more work than people realize. My father owned one for a short time. Hope the new owner does well.
