@BooBear: my parents had everything picked out from what they would wear and in a box at the funeral home waiting for them . We had to get different clothes of course by the time they passed . All the way to the limo and the ride through the town one last time . He wanted that .. then to the grave side . Everything was done . I miss them both so much . They were the best parents . ❤️💜🥲
BooBear : I told the kids, NO funeral, cheapest pine box they got, and a meal together for the loved ones. Oh, and only say nice things LOL. I think the whole 10k funeral thing is gotten way out of hand. When burying you is a burden on people, opt out, think outside THE BOX
@MissAmericanPie : They have gone way up in price, my parents were cremated and had it planned out, so my brother was cremated also. Not sure if that was his wishes, but that is what we did. I think his ashes were sent to my NoCal brother. I do not want them. Never got ceremonies due to covid and I am not sure if my brother will do one now for mom. City of Austin and Zach Theatre ? Did a light ceremony for my brother and one other man that was found dead the same day (across town) after his death.
