Dave Martin responds to recent robberies in Kingwood 8/1/22 Dave Martin responded to the Kingwood community regarding the recent business burglaries via his Facebook page. Multiple businesses were burglarized in the early hours of Saturday 7/30/22. Martin's comments on his Facebook page stated, "I am deeply saddened and angry to hear about the 20 businesses that were burglarized and vandalized over the weekend in the Kingwood area, our community has been through so much. I have requested that our Houston Police Department's Kingwood Division be outfitted with Flock Safety Security Cameras which will help to monitor all traffic in and out of our community. After speaking with HPD Kingwood over the weekend, I will be meeting with them later today to see how I can further assist. I have always provided and will continue to provide HPD with overtime funding through my Council District Service Fund. Kingwood will not be broken. We are strong and will get through this."

StormChaser : It was most, if not all, the businesses by RC's and some across the street on the north side of Kingwood drive.

Texasdad : My husband wanted to shoot at them but I told him not to. We just scared them away. I didn't want to take the risk.
