@podunk : Very true! Adder always, Vyvance, pot, extant, cocaine, and even heroine. Kids are starting in junior high, some even earlier. Where does parenting play a role. I'm just as guilty. My kids tried alcohol and pot. No matter how I lead without ever doing any of it since they were born anc told of them dangers when I was stupid growing up. Didn't leave at a detail. Please learn from me my dear kids. These young teenagers have so much potential. They need us. When the Fox gets into their life, tragic things can happen. He must go
@BooBear : I'm sure you feel their pain and sympathize. There's one person still responsible that hasn't been found. He is the worst of all of them. Our community, our kids aren't safe with him still on the lose. Tristan made a tragic mistake and he paid the ultimate price. Can you imagine beaten first then shot multiple times. Then dropped in a ditch. How is that even human.
@TheBeyonder : They know who is. They knew the day Tristan's body was found. Close friends and little brother shared that info. This kid had been threatening him for awhile. @TheBeyonder : @TheBeyonder : And yes this was over a small bag of weed! This gang leader claimed KW was his turf. No one could sell anything unless thru him. He obviously meant it. He killed a -9 year old kid who didn't fear him.
Part of me would like to share his name. The police dont want that. That's why they have not mentioned it. Some say he left the country yo lay low for awhile. He will return if he has. His money will run out and he's the kind who won't leave a void to fill by others. He wil come back spreading his street cred for killing Tristan. A message if you cross him. That may strike fear. In our kids anc I hope it does. I hope those who are buying pot or drugs take notice and choose a new path. Leave the gang leader to the police and those of us capable of getting him off the streets. We can't just hope for the best. At least not my kids.
We love our children. Teenagers have immature brains. Decision making can be quite underveloped in some. Scientifically proven. They baffle is with decisions and actions taken. What looks so obviously flawed. I did stupid **** too. One of my boys got beaten up and robbed by a gang of three. The kid who sat him up was a childhood friend that stayed at house many times. Even took him with us on trips. No arrests made even though all was caught on camera. These 3 thugs are probably part of same gang. They knew he was a close friend of Tristan. What might they do next. I do knew where one goes to school and an older punk lives. He actually showed up theirs moms house, and stood out there with a gun yelling for my son to come out. Had stepdad not been well armed, who knows. No charges brought against this kid either. This was about a month before Tristan Wes killed. If our police can't protect us, what's left to do? I can Mo longer look the other way. If something happens to TristNs brother or my kids, I could never forgive myself. I love our community. Lived here since 1988. Raised 2 sets of kids here. It's not the same as it was for our kids. I'm grateful my boys trust me enough to tell me the real truth. I've worked hard to earn their trust and they can tell me anything. I wished all our kids could do the same. We can help them in so many ways. The worst elements don't come from Kingwood. No, the cities that surround us and see KW kids as easy pickings. Well, there wrong. Dead wrong. We still have fathers and law enforcement who will do whatever it takes. I know I will. PleaE continue to Pray for Tristan's family. God Blezs

@TheBeyonder : No, no words exchanged. He set My son up to get some pot. My son trusted this friend from years of knowing him. For whatever reasonhe flipped. Brought 2 older guys. One held my boy around neck, the other punched him . The 3rd ransacked his cR and stole all that was valuable. These stupid kids asked my son to meet at a KW elementary parking lot. They parked right in front of a school camera. With all of that, both my son and kid who set him up got 6 weeks in troubled teens military school. No police charges were brought against any of the kids. But I will deal wit it. Hopefully the police will help. We can't have this in our community. We have to wake up and say no more or else. Our kids aren't perfect either. They make dumb choices. But do they deserve to die for them because some gang says so. Hell No.
@KingwoodDotCom : These were just the three who were paid to carry out murder. The gang leader is still free. Police has yet to mention it. If he chooses, he will take out more kids. I know who is and some of the other gang members who have beat up and robbed out KW kids. Most are too afraid to say anything. I for one cant allow a 18 year old gang leader threaten our community. I'm A dad of kids who could be in danger too. I can't just hope and wait. Our community should be demanding law enforcement to shRebwhy this kid hasn't been captured and what their doing. I'm
So sad for this family. I'm so glad they caught these thugs. Hopefully they will prosecute them to the fullest extent of the law.
@BooBear : I have no choice at this point. One of my boys is in danger. He was a close friend of Tristan. Words out he may be next. No way!!! The gang leader is next. He won't harm another kid over his turf and drugs.
I've never in my life heard of someone being murdered over a weed debt.
@TheBeyonder : I hope you are kidding - people are killed over being shorted $20 all the time. It happens every day. Perhaps you think it doesn't, because "it's just weed" but it happens all the time over small debts, because it is not only an unpaid debt but a perceived disrespect, and in our culture, that is grounds, for some people, to murder others.

No one is getting killed for getting shorted on weed unless they are dealing pounds. Coke, meth, heroin, etc... are a different story. This "thug" would have to be the dumbest wannabe gangster around to kill a Kingwood teen over a trivial amount of weed. Montgomery County will probably give him a death sentence.
