Atascocita Fire Fighters Association to Host Charity Car & Motorcycle Show
The Atascocita Fire Fighters Association (International Association of Fire Fighters Local 5316), in partnership with Tin Roof Barbeque and the Atascocita Fire Department, will be hosting the RedLine Classic Car, Hot Rod & Motorcycle Show as a fundraising drive for "Paws for Heroes," on Sunday, May 30, 2021.
Open to the public, and appealing to generations of car and bike enthusiasts, the firefighters of Atascocita hope to provide support to "Paws for Heroes," and their mission: To rescue homeless dogs (and dogs from kill shelter s) and provide them with the professional training necessary to give them a second chance in life, and become service/companion animals to U.S. military veterans who suffer from PTSD.
"By nature, firefighters want to help. In the wake of COVID-19, organizations like 'Paws for Heroes,' have faced challenges in funding their good work. We wanted to provide a helping hand to their organization by rallying individuals, families, businesses, and our entire community. The RedLine event is cars, dogs, veterans, BBQ, apple pie and America. It's the very best of all those things that make a community work," said firefighter union President Keith Sagray.
The RedLine Classic Car, Hot Rod & Motorcycle Show will be held at Tin Roof Barbecue, a family-owned and operated institution, located at 18918 Town Center Blvd, in Atascocita, on Sunday, May 30th from 9:00am until 3:00pm, and awards will be presented in several categories, including "Best in Show," several "Best in Class" awards, as well as the coveted "People's Choice" award!
Attendance is free to the public, and all proceeds from vehicle entry/registrations will be donated to "Paws for Heroes."
