"Funny Money" Got cash back at the G store on 59 & Northpark. Went to spend it and it was not real. Alerted the G store said there was nothing they could do. Some one dropped the ball! Made a police report- they said it's one of the best ones they seen - and they have seen "a lot" lately! Check your money!

@mare567 : You're suppose to turn it in at the bank and they will notify Secret Service unless cop took it

Thanks for the warning. I've been asking bank tellers to check my $50 bills when I get them, but I thought twenties weren't large enough value for counterfeiters.

@HappyHerself : $20 is most common bill for counterfeits for that reason - most think $100 or $50 would be and pay more attention when handed them.

@Katzen : I think I'll buy one of those pens like the one the bank tellers use when checking for counterfeits. I had one years ago for garage sales but it's long gone.

@mare567 : So the G store is Krogers.

It's sad when the residents of Kingwood start talking/writing in Ghetto-speak.

@HappyHerself : Actually $20 is the most common bill to counterfeit. But this one looks real to me. I doubt I'd be able to tell the difference.
