My search has gone to the Chevy Cruze, high dependability rating.

Honda Civic is around the same dependability, but it's a little more expensive. 4951

My brother-in-law's truck was stolen. He turned on the tv to see it in a high speed chase with the Houston police. 4951

@KingwoodDotCom : Shew! Glad my Miata is not on the list. She'd be easy to steal with a rag top. My oldest had a Geo Tracker, the poor man's jeep, with a soft top. Someone ripped it open just to steal nothing inside. It costs a pretty penny to replace a top. 4951

@TheBeyonder : No way Chevrolet sells almost twice as many trucks as Ford. Either Chevys are easier to steal or there is something about them thieves prefer 4951

@rushrock :
Those are the top ten stolen vehicles.
The bottom ten would probably be more in the yugo, aztek etc area 4951

Dodge cars aren't there either but that doesn't mean they can't really screw up your ignition tryin to steal them. 4951
