A Pct 4 Constable Deputy took some time to stop and have a chat with a heroic little boy in a Kingwood park on Wednesday.

"We would like for everyone to say hello to this little hero -- Parker!

Parker & his mother, Olivia Fortenberry, came up to our Deputy, Tommi Kelly, at a park in Kingwood just to say hello, and to tell her he admires law enforcement.

Well after meeting Parker, Deputy Kelly can say she admires him!

Parker was awarded as an Honorary Officer and can even recite the Miranda Rights.

The biggest and most admired accomplishment this guy is tackling is that he's on the road to kicking cancer's butt!!"

Parker was diagnosed with a brain tumor at approximately 8 months old, but his treatments are doing better and better as time goes on.

He proudly accepted a Harris County PCT 4 badge to wear on his shirt.

Thank you Deputy Tommi Kelly for the love and compassion you demonstrate to our citizens and community! 👮‍♀️🚔👮‍♂️💪💙🖤

Deputy Tommi Kelly is amazing! When she was first assigned to the Kingwood area she made a huge effort to get to know many residents! I always love seeing her smiling face, and feel very safe with her patrolling the area! We are very lucky to have her! And congrats to Parker - stay strong little man!
