What idiots. Of all places to rob, it sure as heck isn't going to be a hotel. They may have had 200 in the cash drawer, or not even that much. Charges for most anything is done back to the room and you pay on your cc when you check out. They need to be caught because they are honestly too stupid to walk amongst us.
@Fallon : I'm just annoyed that they took the clerk's phone, right out of her pocket.
I agree on the CC, but my guess is that there are a lot of Kingwood cougars paying with cash, so as to avoid having the record on their credit cards...
First off I'm glad no one was harmed (Staff & Guests). Money can always be replaced but not loved ones. The owner/management/staff are very nice people (stayed there about a week in May when coming from out of state to buy a house here and another week in mid June waiting for furniture). I certainly hope they catch these cowards and throw the book at them.
Question:is it just me but the more I learn about Houston and this "annex" of Kingwood it seems the community is just a cash cow for the city? From low/no police presence to the corrupt water bills/service. There was a KPD and now there isn't... almost ZERO accountability or representation for this community and it's a major concern for me -
