A PCT 4 K-9 unit sniffed out several bags of ecstasy-infused gummy bears on a Lyft passenger in Kingwood Wednesday night.
According to reports from the Montgomery County PCT 4 Constable's Office, one of their deputies stopped a vehicle on 59 in Kingwood Wednesday night for a traffic violation. The car actually turned out to be a Lyft driver.
The deputy deployed his K9 (Dino) around the vehicle and he alerted to the presence of contraband. Upon further investigation, the passenger was found to have 574 grams of MDMA-infused gummy bears.
For those not familiar with MDMA, it stands for Methylenedioxymethamphetamine and is commonly known as ecstasy or molly.
The suspect, identified as 22-year-old Steve Seaberry from Humble, was arrested for Manufacture/Delivery of Controlled Substance, as well as an outstanding Assault - Family Violence warrant.
A tip-o-the-cap to K-9 Dino and Constable Rowdy Hayden's crew for the great work they continue to do in our area. Someone get that pup a treat!
