SWBC Real Estate is pleased to announce that it has broken ground on The Royalton at Kingwood, a Class-A, multi-family property.

The Royalton at Kingwood (previously named Kingwood Ranch) will be located on 15.9 acres along North Park Drive, just west of Interstate 69. It will also be adjacent to Stratus Properties' new 140,000 square foot H-E-B anchored retail center, projected to open in October 2019.

"The Kingwood rental market has traditionally been strong, and with minimal new multi-family developments built over the past several years, we will be able to provide a new high-end lifestyle for the residents who want to live in Kingwood," said Stuart Smith, Senior Vice President of SWBC Real Estate.

Upon completion, The Royalton at Kingwood will consist of 331 Class A rental units comprised of one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and three-bedroom apartments. Stylish interior features of the apartment units include nine-foot ceilings, walk-in closets and outdoor storage, granite countertops in kitchens and bathrooms, a stainless steel designer appliance package, a spacious pantry, walk-in showers, attached garages, and wood-finished-style flooring. Tenants will also enjoy a traditional-style clubhouse, resident lounge area, 24-hour fitness center, spin and yoga room, game room with community kitchen, large pool with sunning deck, and a dog park.

In addition to the amenities developed specifically for the project, the tenants at The Royalton at Kingwood will also be able to take advantage of the close proximity to Lake Houston, which offers swimming, boating, fishing, running/bike trails, park areas, and other public amenities around the lake and throughout the Kingwood Community.

Will they also be able to enjoy the 100's of acres of tree-cleared land around them?

I hope this one has lots of cameras outside, and they keep them up and keep them safe.

If the ones in Kingwood would set up cameras outside and maintain the ones we have, it would be better all around.

@Fallon : Amen! When I lived in the Woodland Hills apartments, cars were always getting robbed. Thankfully at the time, I drove a piece of junk that always had fast food bags in the passenger floor board or seat so my vehicle wasn't exactly a prime target.

@BooBear it will be New Caney or Porter.

If they change that, there are a lot of sub divisions that will riot, I am guessing

But you know, Fall Creek told us 15 years ago, when we looked to building there, that our kids would not go to Humble schools. And that nearly caused a riot a few years later. Remember the vicious school board meetings that went on and on about this? That was the only time I can recall looking forward to the local Kingwood paper, every week

Aldi has go to go, hey ho, Aldi has got to go!

The Dollar Tree is upscale, per the Dollar Tree corporate office. The Dollar store they only put in low rent areas.

@Fallon : Where would Fall Creek kids go? All of that area is within the boundaries of Humble ISD.
