Kelsey-Seybold Announces New Clinic in AtascocitaAtascocita Clinic will expand healthcare access and services for Northeast Houston residents.Originally anticipated to open this summer, Kelsey-Seybold Clinic's new location in Atascocita is now scheduled to open in late 2025/early 2026, officials with the health care provider confirmed via email June 12.As previously reported by Community Impact, the 50,000-square-foot clinic will have space for up to 24 providers offering both primary and specialty care for adults and children. The three-story clinic will also offer medical specialties and diagnostic services, including on-site imaging, laboratory services and a pharmacy."Kelsey-Seybold continues to build access for patients at existing locations, new locations and through our virtual care offerings. We are actively recruiting providers and other staff members for Atascocita Clinic, which is scheduled to open for patient care in late 2025/early 2026," a company spokesperson said via email."The Atascocita Clinic will help us expand our reach, bringing trusted medical providers closer to patients and residents in Northeast Houston," said Kenneth Janis, M.H.A./M.B.A., chief operating officer, Kelsey-Seybold Clinic. "We look forward to joining this vibrant community and caring for patients here."The new clinic represents another significant investment in Kelsey-Seybold's plan to expand access to coordinated, evidence-based primary and specialty care in Northeast Houston. News of this new construction in Atascocita follows other announcements of new construction or openings including recently opened locations in West University, South Shore Harbour, Fairfield, and Stafford, as well as the announcement of Summer Creek Clinic's expansion.The new clinic was first announced in June 2023 and officials broke ground on the project in October.Location: 17818 W.
