Hmmmm it seems we are in agreement that Kingwood has outgrown its breeches. They wont stop the crazy progression until the only trees left are the ones standing upon our own little patch of dirt. Very sad. I demand they rename Kingwood. It is certainly no longer the libable forest.

Ruger5 : It makes me sad the last area of woods in Kingwood will disappear near Oakhurst. I often like looking at that area when passing through. They didn't plan many nature preserves in the master plan did they? Or maybe they did but the strict rules of preserving the trees we once had died when we were annexed. They're also building between the YMCA and King's Harbor, and I have a theory Whole Foods will go in the area in the front of Kingwood that was going to be called Kingwood Parc. I think a good name would be Kingsland to go with Surgar Land and The Woodlands lol, yet that would be very sad indeed to lose Kingwood. Kingwood, WV may be the place to go with a lot more trees, or even Kingwood Street in Ypsilanti, MI haha 4951

....Oh my goodness, ya'll, I cannot believe that ANOTHER HEB is going in, especially with the HEB right there in Kingwood so close by, the one in Atascocita, and both surrounded by multiple Krogers and Aldi's and Randalls and all of the additional cement surfaces..... ....Wow.... 
.....We have an old-school Albertsons here in Carlsbad....
....And a Wally World (Wal-Mart).....
....And I'll tell you, I very much appreciate having the natural surroundings here instead of just brick and mortar everywhere you turn, and to be honest, ya'll, reflecting back on the multiple floods throughout the years there, with the vast firsthand knowledge that concrete does not absorb water, not to mention all of the monies spent and paid out for repairs, replacement, rebuilds etc etc, I don't call that progress.... ....I call it greed..... Edited To Add: And what about the critters and animals who live in the woods, who eat, live, and thrive in the woods....
....And people wonder why the Coyotes and Wild Hogs and such are invading their neighborhoods - why - because their home and natural environment is being destroyed - where are they supposed to go.... 4951

ZMAN : no. It's on the corner when you turn off n park to go downtown on 59. It will be on your right side after the turn 4951
