Txbutterfly : I hear you, and I am not sure we Need any more fried chicken, but it might be good? Since my taste and smell changes from Covid, fried foods don't always hit the mark with me, and taste odd. Onion strings and churros still hit the spot though, Thank Goodness!

LittleTexas : Oh that looks so good. I definitely will try it. I love fried chicken, but I don't care for the ones like Kentucky and some of the other places but that looks like homemade fried chicken. My mother used to make the best fried chicken.
Txbutterfly : A few years back i had to make a bead run. So, to wlh, and 1960 I run and made my dh run in. Omg the stench on the corner from gasoline and fried fast food made me green. My dh came out and said, what's wrong with you? Omg, get in, I'm gonna puke from the grease and gas stench, let's get outta here. I have a serious sense of smell, lol.
I don't eat much fried either. If I do have to fry, I use olive oil in a very thin layer. I have had a bottle of oil for 10 months and I think a half cup is gone. Told my dh, it will go rancid before I use half. I bake, broil, grill.
