New Blog by Bob Rehak: Kingwood's Northpark Project Phase One Reaches 75% CompletionFrom the blog:Bob Rehak reports that the first phase of the Northpark Drive expansion is about 75% complete, based on an update from Lake Houston Redevelopment Authority and TIRZ 10 Board Chair Tom Broad at a Kingwood town hall.Broad said substantial completion of the section from I-69 to Russell Palmer Road is expected by the end of the first quarter of 2027. He also said bridge columns and caps are under construction near Loop 494, with bridge beam installation expected to begin in October.According to Rehak's report, Phase Two is at the 30% design milestone, and right-of-way acquisition is expected to begin this fall.
