dubya : Think about this for a few minutes. You may not be like me but here's what I like. My perfect vacation is to travel to a small town that is old fashioned. A town that preserves the past and has pride for the people who built it. A place with fond memories of children playing in the park with festivals and big bands. A place where people feel safe to walk downtown and great each other with smiles and laughter. A place that is fixed up and clean and unique. Where no one is pushing an agenda that benefits political views or corporate profits. It's an escape from that ugliness. We can be more like that place right here if we would stop being controlled and doing exactly what we are being programmed to do subconsciously. Buy from local small businesses, go to festivals, go to meet ups with friends, go to a church that doesn't push corporate agendas, go to restaurants locally owned, go to nonprofessional entertainment and sporting events, etc. if more of us would do more of those things and watch less TV our community would be more like a place you would want to visit on vacation. That being said, Kingwood is still a great place full of fun things to do and nice places to shop. We just need to keep it one of the best suburbs in Texas.
