Mister Car Wash is confirmed to being built on the old Alspaugh

FreebyrdII : I just moved from the area but the parking lot seems unusually small for the amount of traffic they'll probably get. Also,Lake Houston Pkwy. backups @ Kingwood Dr., etc. doesn't seem ideal for me to go there. I did frequent Shriners and Pirates Cove a couple times and liked it.

I like the idea but it just seems like a bad location for a busy car wash place. Pack your patience with more traffic @ that intersection during work and school hours and new apartments going up everywhere over there. I do miss living in Kingwood but close and have alternate routes to take now. Townsen to KW Dr. in the mornings @ least but we shall see…

Yes. Half sprouts, quarter will be a gym, and the last quarter will be a high end steak restaurant that rhymes with "Berrys". Cant give away too much or I'll get in trouble.

And what was Alspaughs? Did they have reasonable priced gifts??

I've read that the reason so many automatic car wash places exist is that they're actually real estate investments and an automatic car wash is the absolute cheapest thing you can build in it. They don't care if the business makes money, they care if the land appreciates in value.
