Missing Juvenile Rescued After Suspected Human Trafficking Arrest in North Harris CountyA missing juvenile was found safe and reunited with family after an investigation into suspected trafficking in north Harris County, according to Harris County Precinct 4 Constable Mark Herman's Office. The investigation began on September 24th after Precinct 4's Patrol Division received a report involving a runaway juvenile. Detectives said information developed during the investigation led them to suspect the child was being trafficked by a known individual from a residence in north Harris County.Investigators obtained a search warrant for the residence and served it with assistance from Precinct 4's Special Operations Unit. The juvenile was not located during the initial search, but authorities identified 35-year-old Brandi Lowe at the residence. Precinct 4 alleges that further investigation indicated Lowe had posted the juvenile online for trafficking purposes. The Harris County District Attorney's Office accepted a charge of Promotion of Prostitution against Lowe, who was subsequently arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail. Her bond was set at $20,000 through the 497th District Court.Investigators continued searching for the missing juvenile and, on September 25th, developed information leading them to a second location. Another search warrant was obtained and executed, resulting in the juvenile being located and safely reunited with family. Authorities have not publicly released the juvenile's age or the locations of either residence. Precinct 4 says the investigation remains ongoing and additional arrests could follow.An arrest and criminal charge are not a conviction. Lowe is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
