It's out of character for him to disappear like this. I've seen him everyday since he showed up some years ago crying under our bedroom window. The only time he was gone for a few days was after a "rough" vet visit. We have not had any vet visits recently nor can I think of anything that we did to upset him. My husband said that Pavi is an old man & upset that I put a noisy fan in the laundry room for him😆. We named him Pavi after Pavarotti b/c he's very vocal.

Just wanted to update that he has not shown up. Others I've talked to have said that it's not uncommon for cats to go on an adventure for a few days or a month. Pavi is a boy and he's fixed.

that is true; my sister's cat went on a Walkabout for 5 days, and then showed up on their porch. Maybe take a walk after dark, and call for your cat? Hope he is home, Soon!
