I know - been there done that. I think Imelda was my last one- can't remember any storms from then to 2023. Still heartbreaking

Labslady : We've gotten lucky the last few years when it comes to hurricanes. I knew this would not be the case this year, however, I would've been happy to have been wrong; which I thought I was, when it was initially tracking straight through Mexico.

Squirrelly storms- can never turn your back on them! I knew Houston area was "due" but pray that y'all escape anything for the rest of the season. The weather did play a part in our decision to move- we are still active but continuing to have to clean up after every occurrence was just too much.
No where is perfect- we are subject to wildfires and flash floods so there's that.😢 Hurricane kit turned into a GO bag - sigh
