#msg6041427Cbear : you can look on the Yelp app on their page there, for photos and reviews, that might help you find what dishes you'd enjoy there.
Agreed; I cannot do the street tacos with the tons of chopped raw onion and heaps of cilantro. It overpowers any other flavor :0
Far cheaper than Pappa's. At the price, it's an excellent buy. I don't know about Sharkey's.
I have only gotten grilled seafood at Mambo. Frying seafood is not really their forte, when it comes to seafood preparation. You can check out some of the customer photos on Yelp, to see if the food looks the way you like fried foods, to decide.

I've never eaten at a Mambo's, but it looks pretty good, and I hope they do well there. I still wish that Outback hadn't left that location.
#msg6040444Mambo Seafood in Humble! This Latin based seafood place is ready to open soon where the outback steakhouse used to be by half priced books in Humble. Are you a Mambo fan? mamboseafood.com/
We go to the Outback on 45 near the Woodlands/Shenandoah, and really enjoy it. Good service; they do get busy after 6pm on the weekends, so we try to go earlier, since we have the Kidlets with us.
It's Veracruz or Mazatlan style seafood with Asian fried rice if you get their family combos. My grandkids like it. Their seafood cocktails are good and reasonably priced. Think of it like a Mexican BB'S Tex-Orleans.
it's a restaurant chain in the area. they began in Houston in 1996. They have 13 locations.
