Mallard Creek Apartments. Does anyone have experience with thes

@radiogirl30 : Mallard Creek apartments is close to the freeway and lately has had several sets of wheels stollen, mainly from late model Toyotas. My friend had his car jacked up, wheels stollen and left on blocks. The thieves simply drive thru the gates when someone enters or leaves and take what they want. They bent his rocker panels in the process and total repair/replacement cost was over $8000. The next day after getting the car back we put locks on the wheels and that night they broke the passenger window and rifled thru the glove box looking for the key. He has since rented one of the garages to keep the car safe. The thieves hit at least 4 Toyotas in the complex and managed a quick get-a-way being so close to the feeder road. He had to rent a car for 3 weeks while waiting for his car.

I second Kingwood Marquis. They are very good about maintaining the property. It is so quiet and set in a neighborhood. I would not want anything right by the freeway. Safely is the number one concern, but Mallard Creek also lacks closet space.

@LittleTexas : My DD lived in Marguis and really liked it. Her 1st apartment was a 1 br and then she moved to a 2br with the boyfriend now husband.
