Lots of tree limbs down

Lots of trees leaning farther over Kingwood drive between Woodland Hills and High school-both sides. If they don't fall all the way across the street in the next few days, they will go down during the next storm.

Yes, they make me a little nervous whenever I'm driving down KW Drive. It looks like it won't take much for some of them to come down, and I'm sure the next bad storm or hurricane we have a lot of them probably will.

buffaloglenn : This was posted by a meteorologist that I follow!MIDNIGHT: Kingwood, TX needs to be in shelter. Wind will gust between 75-90 mph in a few minutes.

StormChaser : Crazy - that's nearly hurricane force, and helps to explain all the stuff I saw down in the greenbelts this morning (and the power outage). My extended family in Trailwood was also without power this morning; not sure if it came back on or not. Maybe you got to use your new generator today?

buffaloglenn : Yeah ours generator ran from 330am until almost 11!

buffaloglenn : I honestly thought we were having a tornado. Rattled Me awake and there was so. Much stuff hitting my house and pounding that I started running to get my cats. I'm thinking there will be lots of tree damage. I picked up all the hurled tree limbs and junk and now I see what I heard!

buffaloglenn -we lost a large tree in our backyard. We are in Sand Creek!

The tree along Kingwood Drive in Kings Forest at the fence, in a resident's backyard, that has no bark from eaten by the pine bark beetle is still standing. It has been dead for many months.
