Looking for a place to donate leftover Halloween candy. Our church Fall Fest was last weekend and we have multiple bags left. I know some of the area dental groups have collected for the troops in the past. Any options would be awesome! Thanks!

Take it up to the hospital in a halloween plastic halloween bowl that you can get at Dollar tree, for the staff there., it's gonna be a long night, for them!

UptownGirl : I'm a "porch light off" person but I still get kids ringing the doorbell. For some reason, my cat hates when the doorbell rings. In fact, when I open my back door to go somewhere, she runs! I guess having been a stray that I adopted maybe causes this.

Cbear : We rarely have any trick or treaters, at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac. Maybe a dozen in the last 15 years. Also, no one has kids in the cul-de-sac.

Cbear : Yes, the "imports" are led by their parents, they take candy and do not hand it out. Classless
PattyH : Just bag it up and hand it out Sunday to the kids as Sunday school lets out.
UptownGirl: duh, you think with all of your so-called” education”, you might be aware that the ER is very busy on many more events besides July 4 ? apparently you've never worked the ER on a Halloween night, or in an ambulance, getting people there….my “ 2 weeks” of training, kept quite a few people alive, on Halloween nights in Austin. « Back to Chat
