The Vets at Glade Valley are Aggies so there is that. But I had a cat that had cancer and was dying. I was over seas and wanted to get home in time. They wanted to clean her teeth. Ill never go back.

StormChaser : Oops I just read you already go to Kings Crossing. Yes they are expensive, but the way they handled Cassie's care, is so worth it to me! I will definitely take my new baby there as well.
OBSD68 : That is odd and definitely not our experience there. They do take them out of the room to draw blood but every vet I have been to has done that but we have always had our results of fecal and hw at the appointment with City Vet. Was this when they first opened or maybe they had an equipment issue?
StormChaser : We use Dr Genevieve Keillor with Integrative Veterinary Services. She is awesome and very reasonable pricewise too. She is not your typical vet. Dr. K is one of the best vets in the area with such a large wealth of knowledge & love for animals of all shapes and sizes and she loves to share with others. She has been there for us over the years even when she didn't have to and she has a heart of gold!
She is even a skilled surgeon and does a lot of soft tissue surgeries! She works for shelters and low cost facilities. She merges traditional care with integrative care and looks at the whole animal for healing. She titrates vaccines to the size of the dog and not just one size fits all! She does want to just put a band-aid on the problem and give meds, she wants to get to the root cause. She does a lot with shelters.
We found our forever vet! She has an office in Fur Babies Pet Store up in the front of KW. She has some limited hours but she may be opening another day or so. We see her on Sundays!

Looking for a new vet We are looking for a new vet for Miss. Bianca 🩷🩷🩷 Does anyone have personal reviews of Glade Valley on Northpark? Any other suggestions? I'm not a fan of Loop 494 Animal Hospital or Kings Crossing so I won't be using them. Thanks!
StormChaser : Your girl is beautiful!!! I have had good experiences with Northpark Vet. Now that said, they are a bit pricier than others however, vet care overall is not cheap. I am thinking of getting Lemonade or some other form of pet health insurance. Good luck!

cbear : Sam's Club offers pretty reasonable pet insurance but I haven't compared with others to know how reasonable it is. « Back to Chat
