Lone Star Dental Hygiene Program

Cstomio123 : Did this actually happen to you? Those students have certain things they have to get completed on time. If anything it's the patient who cancels appointments and makes the student wonder if they will get to complete the needed tasks. It's kind of up to you if you do this quickly or slowly. Your availability matters! The Process is spread out over some time and if you continue long enough you will get your teeth cleaned several times over the 2 year period. Although I have dental insurance, I was a pt. for my neighbor girl when she went through the program at UT Dental School. It is a little higher cost than the Lonestar program and you do have to drive to the medical district but it is so worth it. I learned so much about my teeth and how to care for them. I learned about stuff my regular dentist would never offer. Such as, a product they can apply to a small cavity and heal it. Your dentist will not tell you about that! He would rather fill a cavity, have it turn into a bigger cavity over and over till you need a crown. I still go to my neighbor girl for my dental care. I've now been seeing her for 8 years. She has never hurt me like my old hygienist did. If I did not have dental insurance I would certainly utilize a dental hygiene program for my dental care. The price is fantastic and the care is great. After all, the student hygienists grade depends on how well they do their job. It is very important to them!

I used the lonestar program years back and was best cleaning I've had. I told my dentist that and was told the students are being graded so they take their time, which is not like once they're in practice.
