icare : That was probably when Spring Branch had horses, cattle, and goats. There used to be some serious small ranches there at one time, from what I've herd (yes, I misspelled it on purpose) ;0)

PeggyAnnR : I used to work in a music studio in Mission Bend as a harmony vocalist. The homeowner was an anesthesiologist and had a real nice studio in his garage. We even had Larry Franklin from the band, "Asleep at the Wheel" lay down some fiddle tracks for us. That was a fun time in my life.
LocalBizNet : How much fun! Mission Bend for us as well. Lived on La Paloma which t-intersected into Winkleman. It was a nice neighborhood until it wasn't!

CaffeineFree : I had an old friend that moved to San Antonio years ago to join the police department. He quit after only three months and said the reason he quit was because the crime was so bad! LOL I'm like, that's what you were there for, for crying out loud!!! 😂

LocalBizNet : Grew up in the CV/North Shore area, just down the Beltway, built our 1st home in the North Shore/Woodforest area, built our 2nd in Summerwood in 2001, and built our current in 2015.
cbear : That was my first job at 16. Got $5.15 an hour to run go carts, bumper boats, snack bar, fix arcade games, fish golf balls out of the pool and of course un clog the batting cages!!
