#msg5929742Summer 1976. Prior to Woodland Hills Apartments being built. Steak N Ale was main restaurant in Humble (Blue Marlin on Humble side of San Jacinto). Kingwood Drive stopped at Country Club. Log Cabin in 59 was hopping back then. Will Clayton was previously named Jetero Blvd.
Blue Marlin was our 'fancy' date spot in High School! Also enjoyed Gabby's Burgers and BBQ that was in Humble; when I was pregnant, I craved their cheeseburgers,

#msg5929329I would like to know how long some of the Kingwood residents have been here
You know they say most people don't go far from where they were born. I didn't really have a choice. I was born in Wales and I don't ever plan on moving back.
I moved into my house in August 1975 (50 + years) . I think I'm the last original homeowner on my street.
muffy reacted When I was little in the 70s my parents helped some friends move to their new home in Trailwood. I remember so many trees and all the signs being ground level and thinking what a cool place to live. Now I am going on 29 years. Think there was a groceries store named Jamal's????
