Redheaded stepchildren of HDC and MOCO and TXDOT. You'd think that a constable or HPD would have driven through there since Friday and should have reported it. 494 is a TXDOT road, NP is MOCO at that intersection, and HCO couldn't give a hoot about what goes on in KW. Flip a coin as to who is responsible for fixing the problem.

CaffeineFree : Right! No one will want to take responsibility. It seems to me it is MOCO but NP does not really serve the people of MOCO so they won't want to put time and money into it. I'm sure it would be a simple fix.

TEXASGIRLMAMMA : it's taken me 15 minutes to get from RP to 494.

Just a FYI - the City of Houston no longer has a third shift (after-hours) crew for signals unless they are completely out or knocked down, so these problems are likely to continue. We reported this signal 3 separate times this weekend. This problem will get worse before it gets better.

CaffeineFree: The signal is owned and maintained by the City of Houston... actually the majority of signals within City limits are maintained by the city. Any city with over 10k residents can take over signal maintenance even on State roadways. If this was a TxDOT Signal it would've been fixed Friday night.

When I passed yesterday morning to pick up my groceries everyone was doing exactly what is called for when light is flashing red. Very unusual for Kingwood.

I made it to med center in an hour. A chunk of it was just getting out of KW. When I was here last week it took almost 2 hours because it was at 9am (rush hour). I really like this 11am appointment stuff.

Crazy they can't just fix things
