Heathur : The leader of the Republican party is not seeking support. He is fanning the flames of hate and vowing vengeance hear and read his words.
Sisyphus : I don't mean the leader of the Republican Party specifically. That would likely never happen. I mean people of the Republican Party in general. On social media, the news, here on KDC, etc they are encouraging all people regardless of affiliation to have compassion, rightfully so. I just hope they'd keep that same energy if things were the other way around.

DDV1218 : As an adult do you believe in leading by example, or do you think it's okay to ignore the idea that two wrongs don't make a right? Kindness doesn't cost anything. Obviously, feeding people to alligators is wrong, but being excessively nasty about a dead activist you didn't give a fk about a week ago, with some people even saying he deserved, it is equally as wrong. At least how I was raised.

I never liked the "a picture is worth a thousand words" stuff. I do like visual arts, but a great painter told me that people talked too much about his paintings instead of feeling them.
Looks like some folks are only against the "cancel culture" when it's convenient.
