OBSD68 : I don't think it's victim blaming, but just saying that if you have a garage full of moving boxes, Christmas decorations (unused for six years) and old clothes you haven't worn in ten years that maybe it's time to get rid of the crap and protect your $50,000 investment.

buffaloglenn : I will admit that I have always had one bedroom committed to storing non everyday items. I refuse to use attic or garage for these items. I know not everyone can do so though.
