SO sorry you're going through this. Depending on your deductible, it may be worth contacting your insurance company. When the other driver takes off you can file the case as an uninsured motorist claim.

She is good. He graduates next week w the army he already did basic so he is doing his job training. She will be on her way home Nov 30 until they leave for S Korea. I will have 3 dogs 2 cats & 6-8 people home for Christmas.

Sorry that happened to you. Too bad you were not able to get a plate since it happened so fast.
I taught my kids that if they are in a wreck to immediately get phones and take pictures of the cars plates and when exchanging info to also take pictures of their ins card, liscens and their VIN along with the wreck scene. When you are shaken up it is easy to write stuff down wrong and that goes both ways.
