Large Trash Pickup! Are other areas of Kingwood experiencing issues with large trash pickup being missed? Forest Cove, in particular, is seeing large trash left uncollected with no clear or reliable schedule, and in some cases not being picked up at all.

dsgnrone : Forest Cove has COH trash pick up. That explains a lot. Our village has Best Trash and yes, it costs more, however they have been reliable.

dsgnrone : I'm sorry you have COH garbage pick up. It is disgusting. I cut through FC and have friends over there. The piles of trash are out of hand. Unfortunately, The bags have broken open because they have been there so long they have started to rot! Is that the homeowner's fault? Not really! From what I understand it should have been gone at least a month ago. I live where we have Best Trash. They truly are the BEST! You might want to get on your HOA board and push to get out from under the COH for garbage pick up. I don't know what else you could do besides call the city every day. Maybe you should call one of the TV stations to report on it.
dsgnrone : How about a king size box spring? We had an old rusted out grill and told DH to put it on the curb and he said they won't take it. He put it out at 6am and went to drop him off at airport and when I got home it was gone. Trash hadn't come by yet.

dsgnrone : I know what you're talking about I live in FC. It's just ridiculous that people's trash sit out there for a month. And it doesn't do any good to call the 311 number because they'll tell you they're coming and they don't. I called it three times one month because they wouldn't pick it up they kept saying oh they'll be out there tomorrow. They'll be out there Thursday. Finally, a lady told me I don't know what else to tell you. They'll be there when they get there. Well how rude is that. We pay for that service is not like they're going around doing it for free. It's included every month.
