I have a large amount of fabric- some on bolts, some are just remnants, but I need to convert my sewing room into a bedroom for one of my kids, so wanting to donate the fabric to a school or church that can use it for non-profit use. Anyone know of a just cause?

jenack : luannski : mostly quilting fabrics - cotton
jenack : That would be perfect for Days for Girls project. Let me see if I can find info.
jenack : I know of a school that uses fabric and does many different things with it.
jenack : Do you have any cat or dog prints? miro2019 and Volunteers for Animal Protection make things out of cloth to sell for the animals.

jenack : our church was participating in Days for Girls project, but the lady who led it moved away, and I'm not finding local info. Here's the main website, if you want to check it out. Surely there's someone in Houston still actively participating. www.daysforgirls.org /
jenack : I would love to come see what you have ♥ï¸. I make multiple items and donate to VAP animal rescue to sell for fundraisingz This discussion has been locked.
