Landscapers working on Sunday

Donnawisdom : Come to our street between 1-4 and today and you will see the crew there. Sunday is their regular day!

Well over here I see no crews on Sunday. Never really thought about it until right now. But if they have to work on Sunday then I would be ok with that.

Workers started at 7:50 A.M. Sunday working on cutting trees on greenbelt this morning. The dead trees need to be cut before they fall on someone.

That is ok, they are working for the town not private contractors working someone's yard. So damn loud you cannot open your doors and windows.

ZMAN : Why not? They dont adhere to rules.

I think it would be awesome to have one day of sweet silence. Buy aint never gonna happen!

Weekdays are for primary employment. Weekends have always been for yardwork in my mind, and in my neighborhood.Where have we overlooked this no yardwork on Sundays thing?Maybe Chick-Fil-A can start running the HOA...and make all your dreams come true?

Workers were trimming trees along Woodland Hills Dr from Oak Shores to Tree Lane. The community looks much better. That is an area where many K Park students walk to and from school.

I don't understand the problem.

I don't really see lawn crews working on Sundays but I don't think it's much different than a neighbor cutting their own lawn on a Sunday. There are only two days in a typical weekend...Sat or Sun...many neighbors can truly only cut grass on those two days due to time constraints with work and school activities. I don't think it's a big deal whether it's a lawn crew or a neighbor. As long as my neighbors grass is cut and the yard is neat.. I am happy and thankful that I have a neighbor that cares about their yard.

I don't mind them doing lawns on Sundays. I do think it's wrong when you have these guys doing lawns on Holidays, i.e. Thanksgiving, Easter Sunday, Christmas. Which I have seen in my neighborhood many times.
