luv2eatsushi : I'm not suggesting this is the case for her, but there are also lots of people in our state who go boating, not wearing a life jacket, and they can't even swim. It's mind boggling.

ZMAN : Back in the day we used to take speed boats out on the Hudson River. So many girls would sit on the back, no life jackets and I refused to sit there. I told them, he guns it and you flip off the back, there are propellers, motor, etc back there. If you don't get cut up, you may just get sucked down and tangled in all the crap. Or a dead body if the feces doesn't kill ya.
I see it all the time. No life jackets or torn up ones too old to use. Sad.

beadweaver : Haha! I learned to water ski in the Hudson River, and about the only thing I remember about it was all the oranges floating by.
