I think KSA is a thankless job. One can never please everybody, but I do believe that they gen.uinely have ALL of Kingwood in there minds. There are many benefits in Kingwood, and they have to be one of the top reasons.

Thank you for your post. As an HOA board member from years ago, it is still nice to hear appreciation for the management company. Most complaints of KSA are from disgruntled residents who are not deed restrictions compliant. Why move to a deed restricted community if you don't like deed restrictions? Deed restrictions are vital to maintaining property values.

Ethel owns KAM aka Kingwood Association Management. They are a property management company no different than Sterling ASI, Goodwin & Company, Prestige Association Management, etc. KAM is hired by KSA, aka Kingwood Service Association. KSA, which I attend most of the meetings, makes decisions about parks like East End and Deer Ridge, the entrances at KW and NP, and other things. When those decisions Ethel (as owner and employee of KAM) is hired by KSA but works for KSA as part of KAM.Kingwood Service Association
The Kingwood Service Association was formed "to provide for community, civic and social
welfare in the Kingwood Area of Harris and Montgomery Counties, Texas and to promote the
health, safety and welfare of the Kingwood Area residents and property owners. Kingwood
community associations contract with KSA to provide group property, liability, and other
insurance, maintenance to common areas, facilities and services of overall benefit to the
Kingwood residents. KSA owns parks and recreation areas and provides for maintenance of
facilities that are not the responsibility of the individual village community associations and trails
associations. Entrances to Kingwood are also the responsibility of KSA. Each member
community and commercial association selects a member of its board to serve on the KSA
Board of Directors. The KSA Board meets at 7:00 pm on the third Thursday of January, April,
July, and October in the South Woodland Hills Community Room, 2030 Shadow Rock Drive.
The board also meets in September to receive the proposed budget for the following calendar
year. The Board votes acceptance of the budget at its October meeting. KSA meetings are open
to the public, and public attendance is encouraged. KSA has two permanent committees
comprised of representatives of KSA member associations who volunteer their services.
