I didn't go to the parade but drove by shortly afterwards. What caught my eye was a plastic kiddy pool. Did people use it for the expected use or was it a large water cooler? I also saw many cases of water parked right next to it.Clever idea, whichever was the use.

Have been many times to the parade, it never disappoints. Missed it this year.

luv2eatsushi : b uffaloglenn . I dont have a picture from this year as of yet. But here are 2 from previous years. One from 3 years ago with my son and grandson. And one from the very first parade I was in.

Did anyone here have a float in the parade?

mellen : I saw your truck go by, and thought that might have been yours, but refrained from yelling "mellen" toward you as you went past. I didn't want anyone to think I was calling you a melon or something. We enjoyed seeing your truck as well as all the other antique and vintage cars rolling past. It was a nice parade this year, and the overcast skies kept the temperature reasonable.

Thanks. It was a great parade the overcast made it much more pleasant for the spectators. Being in the parade gives you a different view and perspective of the parade. It was the largest crowd I've seen in several years. Glad everyone got to come, wave a flag, wave a hand, and be happy for an hour or 2.
