I disagree that we need more grocery stores. I do think we could use more of a variety of restaurants here, though.

High end restaurants like Perry's know this and chose to operate elsewhere.I'd be surprised to see if we ever get anything other than chains, and the handful of independent/individually owned restaurants.

Sprouts should be a nice option.I feel like trader joes is for 21 year old college chicks

But there is no Randalls or Safeway or Albertsons or Piggly Wiggly or Winn-Dixie or Harris Teeter or Publix or Food Lion or Brookshires or Brookshire Brothers or WinCo or AG or IGA or A&P or Schmucks or Dierbergs or DelChamps. And the Costco and Sams are so far away also.
And there is not even an official 7-11
