Brat : Sorry, but I am serious. We live miles away from the best medical Center in the world. Why in the world would you not choose a doctor from that facility?

Gingersnap : Which Dr Ganim? DH sees Dr. Nidal Ganim and we absolutely love him. He actually hears what his patients say.
KanKan : Several family members, including myself, have been at KW with excellent care. DH was in Memoeial Hermann in Humble with pneumonia about 10 years ago. The staff was nice enough but the room was horrible. They highly pressured him to take a pneumonia vaccine while he had pneumonia. His doctor was livid saying that was an ongoing battle. We woukd choose KW any day.
KanKan : My husband had a heart cath done about six weeks ago and all was fine. He is going back on Tuesday (9th) for a carotid stent once again at HCA Kingwood, Staff very friendly and hospitable and hospital very clean also. He had a heart cath done a few years ago at Memorial Hermann hospital they also were good. Go with your feelings and maybe say a prayer 🙏 over this issue, you'll get your answer.

Gingersnap : Nidal is his son! He is young but perfect for us.
KanKan : I think it depends on who the specialist is. I went in for a Heart Cath. Introduced to a doctor in the procedure room I didn't know. I left.
Kittle : Yes he is. He has 5 sons. He lights up when he talks about them and his wife.

KanKan : Houston Methodist and Texas Heart Institute would be my choices. Why is the doctor only associated with the two you me.tiomed?

BTW, DH had a double bypass in 2012 at Kingwood because he started having his heart attack at Cracker Barrel and I drove him directly there. Never had an issue. Great service. Mom doesn't want it there because she's heard horror stories so I'll go where she goes. Lol
KanKan : So, You are going to Memorial Hermann. That is the location I would pick. Prayers everything turns out good for you and your mom!
Thanks, everyone. I use Vital Heart & Vein and they said I could use either one. I have to schedule one for Mom and one for me. Mine is worse but will be fine and I'll tell her and my sister when they're here on Sunday. I thought Dr was calling me today at work about scheduling Mom's and then he said "I have your catscan results from yesterday" and I knew that couldn't be good since I have an appointment at the end of the month for results. lol. I freaked out a little, ok I cried a lot, but now I'm fine. lol Told DH and then told DS. DS asked if I needed him to drive me and then was like oh, I guess DH will take you. Some habits from the son of a single mom are hard to break. 🥰
