Snoodles :
My son is a fireman in California and he goes on medical calls all of the time. In times of danger, they wait for the police to show up.

Taft :
No! My dad was loving and kind. So was my husband's. You are blaming the victim. This kid was guilty of stealing before and stole someone's truck the night of the shooting and crashed it. There is no excusing this behavior!

muffy : This is awful! This kid, at 16, already has been steeling. I wonder what other criminal activity he has been part of. I hope they throw the book at him!

>> Well a young man naturally comes to challenge his father. It's a natural breaking point for males to make their own way. If mom isnt present it gets out of hand.

Are you sick in the head Taft, natural for a son to pull a gun on a father? What is wrong with you?

Chiza : That is not natural for a son to do this. It is, however, SICK!

muffy : oh... your no one's son and no one's father lol. how can you even comment or pretend to understand? My dad was proud when I finally stood up to him. He dropped whatever the argument was about because he saw I was finally willing to take it physical. He smiled, hugged me, told me he will always love me, and that now I understand what it means to be a man. After that he treated me as an adult and it brought us much closer. Thats an important point in creating "men" as we all like to think of men. Please keep the forums civil. Gray box info   Details+Dispute

Well, let me say this simply Taft, y'all are beyond wrong. Shame your dad raised you that way and you think its right.

>> muffy : Well the point of challenge comes naturally. If the boy is physically weak and knows he will lose hand to hand he will use a weapon. This is like animalistic level stuff thats just a part of human nature. It's like yeah society LOVES strong independent men, but HATE to see how the sausage is made. Meh. strong Dad survived. They will likely become best friends after the dust has settled and kid realizes his dad is the only one who truly loves him.

Nothing about your statement is "animalistic" except that you tried to make it that way Taft... your way of thinking is absolutely SICK....I have had disagreements with my parents but would never have thought of grabbing a gun...tho 1000's were and are available in our home...Strong men know how to talk and speak and HEAR.
