Kingwood HPD Unit "Going beyond the badge!
Recently, Officers Ipina, Cristerna, and Cockman out of Kingwood didn't just assemble a trampoline; they built smiles and embraced community spirit. It's these moments that make our officers special."

I hate to be a grouch here, but...
Were they doing this on the clock, or in their spare time?
Because, police officers cost something like $100/hr when you include equipment cost, support staff, health and benefits, etc...So, if three officers spent 20 mins on this, it cost about $100 of taxpayer money to help fix someone random person's trampoline...

Joe : I had that as thought as well. It was still kind of them to offer assistance.
We pay plenty of taxes to COH. Its nice for their police officers to give back. I would be nice if the City Works people would get in the game and time the lights on KW Drive and 494. They don't even have to do anything special, just their jobs.

CoH officers take a million years to respond to any call because they're so short staffed, plus call volume is insaaaane this time of year. It's a cute warm & fuzzy piece but to use the resources of 3 officers for something like trampoline assembly is kind of embarrassing. Would not have posted this, HPD.🙃
Joe - You're making an assumption to complain about the police helping someone. You don't actually know if they are on the clock or not.
eighteen : Unless putting up in front yard how did they know to offer?
