acteon : The school did not tell kids to protest, it was the opposite, they threatened consequences for walking out during school hours. But, they did the walk after school hours, so the threat was avoided. I took photos of the protest for the website, and most of the kids were quite passionate about their opinion -- I don't think anyone was coercing them or were only there because "they were told" to go protest.

acteon : There was plenty of law and order there and they even prevented some chaos with an arrest. I guess you were just making a general statement not referring to the thread.
it was just a way for them to get out of school. They should all be charged with an absence. I dont pay my school taxes for kids to protest and skip school.
