We keep hearing that President Trump is an out-of-control authoritarian dictator who is weaponizing the government against his political enemies. Which is odd, since he apparently doesn't even have the power to fire James Comey's daughter… ...Or to remove trees from a golf course.

anonymous : How is this a thought? Just because Trump got blocked by federal judges when trying to fire Comey or chop down those public trees doesn't mean he didn't try to cross the line, it just shows his willingness to bypass the rules. Realistically, running into a legal wall doesn't prove a Truump isn't trying to abuse his power, it just means the system's checks and balances actually did their job and stopped him. Thank goodness for the judicial branch being somewhat functional. It's nice when checks and balances actually do their job.
