Police could give a crap even though a purse with a newborn bracelet, WIC info, sonograms and other crap. Emailed Austin to let them know we got the car back and what we found. Crickets. After the repairs he was back and forth to work. One day, minutes after he just left our house he called saying he was pulled over for being in possession of a stolen car. We went there and explained that that is the recovered car. I asked him how he knew and Austin police could give a poop. He said there is a camera on NP that plates are ran. They were waiting for him to leave our house so they could arrest him. Really, run the plates and it would show is name and address your staking out. But I give them credit they are more on it than APD.
sweetie : there are 'money dogs', often used in drug busts, due to the amount of money involved. The dogs are trained to smell the concentration of the ink used in money, in large amounts of cash. It's a cool science. Malinois are one of the favorite breeds for this training. Very Smart Pups, and devoted trainer/handlers.
