Ingenious Brewery in Humble is closing. Last day is January 6th

Just because you like to craft beer or liquor, doesn't mean you have a sound business model, it's part of how free enterprise and entrepreneurial endeavors work, there is no guarantee for financial success, the weaker businesses will fail out and the stronger ones will continue. It's how we advance in technology and business. It's also the system that has made America as a whole the most innovative and driving force for the world to rise above the horse and buggy era.

We had group meetings there but they also had quiz nights at the same time. We couldn't hear each other as some guy was giving clues through a guitar amp. We meet elsewhere now.

In Portland Oregon every single brewery I visited had the Illuminati triangle with the eyeball on the wall. Everything looked like a small independent brewery but they were all being ran by a larger corporate company. They also were smart and put their brewery with bus tours to allow people to drink and not drive. They also gave pretzel necklaces as part of the package. The small breweries are smart to start thinking about this now and come up with a way to protect their business before they flip to corporate breweries. It's kind of like every brewery being owned by Landrys. Same stuff just different look. Anyways I wish the small breweries a chance and hope they have sort of like "chamber of commerce" but just for them on ways to increase business for all of them.
