Was not impressed at chachis

I have eaten there 2-3 times and the food was ok, but nothing to write home about. It always seemed more of a social setting to me, a place to go and be seen, if you will. For quality food in the area, there are places I like better.

You're allowed to have an opinion and not get attacked for it. I'm sorry it wasn't the best experience for you. The margaritas are very good there, and the food is also pretty good, but it's not my favorite here in our area.

Sisyphus: chuy had not taught his staff how to make the skinny on the rocks. Too much lime juice! If Chuy there I return them and he makes them.

I like Chachi's a lot. I always eat in the bar to avoid the loudness clatter. The Chachi's Camerones is my favorite. ( fried shrimp and jalapeños).

I've had similar experiences at Chachis. As others said, it's TexMex which is different than traditional Mexican if that's what you're looking for.
I do like their tortillas and fajitas.
I am mostly put off by the staff, bums rush and indifferent attitude towards being welcoming and polite. The optic is that we should appreciate that they exist as opposed to them appreciating our patronage.

Reading through some of the posts, I find a similar theme.General consensus seems to be that the drinks are very good….I will agree with that. They are very good….which leads me to a disclaimer on my previous post.
With enough drinks my previous grips are canceled out.
